These studs are what hold your engine into the frame of your Ducati. They are stronger than the stock bolts, but they weigh half as much! The TPO Parts Titanium Engine Mount Stud Kit replaces your weak OEM engine mount bolts with our specially manufactured titanium studs. Becasue the Ducati engine is a stressed member--an integral part of the motorcycle's frame--these studs result in a stiffening of the entire bike. This improves turn-in, stability, and handling confidence.
TPO Parts Titanium engine mount studs are made in the USA from billet 6AL-4V Titanium. The studs are centerless ground (not just lathe-turned) to exacting tolerances. This makes them perfectly straight, and provides a tight no-slop fit into the engine. The studs include our own custom-manufactured Titanium washers and nuts (all billet Titanium). These studs look fantastic, and will never rust or corrode.
These studs are easily installed with simple hand tools in about fifteen minutes.
