TPO Ultra Stealth License Plate Bracket
This kit fits Ducati 748, 916, 996, and many other sports bikes.
We designed the ULTRA STEALTH license plate bracket for those that want the cleanest possible look to their bike. The ULTRA STEALTH mounts the license plate underneath the tail section of your motorcycle. It saves a lot of weight compared to the stock unit, and it's good looks can't be beat. It was designed for the Ducati 916 style of motorcycle, but it will work on many others as well.
This bracket weighs a mere 55 grams (0.15 lb)! The stock bracket on a Ducati superbike weighs 745 grams (1.64 lb) or more! Installing this bracket is an easy way to save about a pound and a half of weight!
Unlike competing license plate brackets, this kit offers several advantages:
- The license plate is securely held at all four corners (legally required in some areas)
- Flexible mounting position allows you to install the bracket where you want it.
- Complete step-by-step directions are included, including color figures.
- ALL stainless steel hardware is included--no rusting!
- Ultra-lightweight license plate bolts are included. These are made from a special polymer and weigh 1/10th that of steel hardware.
- HEAT PROOF construction. This bracket can withstand the heat from high performance engine mods and aftermarket exhaust pipes. Unlike plastic brackets, it will never melt or deform due to heat.
The bracket is computer designed and manufactured on a state-of-the-art Waterjet cutting machine--creating a smooth, precise part that bolts on with no fiddling. It is made from 6061 Aluminum alloy, and is heat-treated for strength. The bracket is coated matte black for good looks and corrosion resistance. It has a bolt pattern that accepts the standard USA license plate. (Beware of other license plate brackets which are designed for European plates!)
This kit is brand new, complete, and is ready to install. It includes the precision-cut and anodized plate bracket, stainless steel mounting hardware, plate fasteners, and complete instructions.
This kit does NOT preserve the stock turn signals. It is up to the installer to set up new turn signals. A kit which has matching brackets for your stock turn signals is available.
